The Houston Arts Partners Conference, an annual event since 2011, offers arts-based strategies, creative classroom approaches, and professional arts partnerships for teachers of ALL subjects.

On August 3, HAP arts organization and higher education partners will offer their interactive professional development sessions at an in-person mini-conference. No matter what subject you teach, find out how the arts and creativity can support learning in your classroom!

The Essentials:

  • Date: Wednesday, August 3, 2022

  • Time: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

  • Location: Lone Star College-Tomball Performing Arts Center [Map it!]

  • Price: $30/person for individual registrations (plus fees). Check with your fine arts director before purchasing tickets, as they may already be planning to purchase tickets at a discounted bulk rate.



  • The HAP Conference is open to everyone

  • Up to four hours of CPE certification provided

  • Free parking is available on the north and south sides of the Performing Arts Center.


COVID Precautions:

  • For the in-person elements of the HAP Conference, we will follow the requirements of our host, Lone Star College-Tomball, regarding capacity, masking, distancing, and vaccines. These precautions are subject to change at short notice. Information about our precautions for in-person attendees will be provided the week of the conference.
